       What is the PTA?

        PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association.  The mission of the PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality.

  • The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
                                  
  • Collaboration: We work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organizations to accomplish our goals.
     
  • Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement.
     
  • Accountability: We acknowledge our obligations. 
     
  • Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We expect the same high quality of effort and thought from ourselves as we do from others.
     
  • Inclusiveness: We invite and value input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints.

  • Integrity: We act consistently with our beliefs. When we err, we acknowledge the work.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a dedicated organization that brings together families and educators to support and enrich the educational experience of all students. Through open communication, community events, and fundraising efforts, the PTA helps strengthen the school environment, meet student needs, and advocate for policies that positively impact the entire school community. The PTA plays a vital role in fostering strong partnerships between home and school.
